Soft & Low
Jodan really enjoyed this-the lick is really catchy, I liked the wahs wahs & the change to the different harp. This one will stick in my head I'd like to learn it. Thanks

Hey Jodanchudan - I sure enjoy your playing and follow your comments on MBH forum. That train sequence you posted there is very very good!!! Gives me inspiration. Couldn't see how to pass the compliment/comment on through email contact so trying it here. You can email me by clicking on the envelope under my name in one of the forum topics. I'm on other forums as "htrain" (MBH and Harmonicaboogie) Take care and keep on with that harp!!
Great track!
Really good stuff Jodanchudan. The low D harp works really well alongside the G in 3rd. Nice tone!
Nice work...
CH1 - Nice TB, smooth... nice tone...
CH2 - Nice hand usage. The 3/4 shake is a little dicey on the I and V Chords in 3rd Position (works great on the IV Chord though). My favorite part was when you resolved on the 8 draw at the end... that was sweet.
CH3 - Nice change to 2nd. I like your 3' tone. Again watch the 3/4 shake on the V Chord.
CH4 - Nice to hear the head return.
Try playing 2nd Position licks on the IV Chord.
nice
How long you been here Jodan? your really getting good, some cool nice low bends,Im getting jealous you gotten way better in the last year than i have ;-) you sound good.
Thanks
Cheers, Hobo! I've been on this site about ten months, I think. It felt like I was taking about three steps backwards to start with, trying to learn to tongue block - almost like starting from scratch. Definitely worth it though. I think I was just messing around with the harp before, picking up some bad habits and not being too clear about how to improve. The study songs really help, although I get really frustrated when I just can't seem to nail a particular part. It takes me ages to get through a study song till I think I can record it (and when I listen back I keep thinking 'that bit's rubbish', 'messed that up', 'how could you submit THAT?') Still, when you listen back to recordings of earlier study songs, you can definitely hear progress, even though it might not feel like it at the time.
Oh Yeah!!
definitely hear the George Smith influence - love the wah wah start in chorus 2 - head theme keeps coming through with variations - switch to 2nd position worked well and gave it a nice change up - good tone and solid note articulation. I sure didn't pick up much "sloppiness". I think you should feel good about this one!!! Way to go.
