Hi,

I was invited to play a track at a Rn'R concert in a local pub. I was working on this theme which will be performed tomorrow. I got a bit tired with some parts playing tonight I hope it will be better tomorrow. I used F harp.

Thanks a'lot to Mr. David Barrett for his teaching instructions.

Listen with kind regards, Laszlo

My blues

I've worked on this for quite a while as well. I decided to go back to he first lessons and look at  the embouchure explanation and see if there was a better way of reaching that strong confident sound and I could see I wasn't placing the harmonica deep enough in my mouth. I tried it and I liked it. It kind of connected my diaphragm to the reads. I think it sounds pretty good. The last Chorus is off but I'll try and nail it next time. continue reading...

Walter's Boogie

This is the 1st song I attempted to learn when I was a beginner. I got about 1/2 thru the song but put it on the shelf because I couldn't play it clean and in time. About a month ago I decided it was time to learn the tune in it's entirety. I'm still not completely happy with how clean the IV Chord triplets are, but it's getting there. :-)

First-ever I Touched a Backtrack - Shuffle - Impro

Posted Tue, 12/19/2017 - 06:52 by Laszlo Konyeczki

To show you a difference in my development I share my first-ever backtrack recording using a Hohner Rocket C harmonica.

It is interesting because I sent it to Mr. Ronnie Shellist who wrote me a few building criticism.

"Sounds to me like you are trying to feel your way around the instrument for now. Focus on opening up your breathing and holding notes and creating good tone!"

The date was 11.11.2015.

So do not give up learning :-)
