Should David and I create Harp Tech Studies 8: Marine Band 101?
Hello Harp Techs
The Marine Band 101 workshop in San Jose, CA taught by myself and Richard Sleigh was chocked full of techniques and information ... maybe too much for a one day workshop.
I am considering filming Harp Tech Studies #8: Marine Band 101, but wanted to measure interest in this specialized area of study.
In the harmonica customizing universe, it is common knowledge that if you are skillful at customizing an "out of the box" Hohner Marine Band 1896 harmonica, you can tackle virtually anything with harmonica mechanics.
The Hohner Marine Band harmonica is considered the gold standard, from which most professional harmonica players still judge the traditional and authentic blues harmonica sound.
Let me know your interest ...
Your Harpsmith, Kinya
That would be a very informative addition.
That would be a very informative addition.
I say definitely yes as well. Your lessons are excellent, and this is information I can use.
Homer.
Kinya,
Please put my name on the list. Since I could not go to your class at San Jose (too many classes to choose from) I know I would benefit from it.
Ken
I'd love to see that.
I also missed the San Jose workshop, and would love another chance to learn more about this subject!
please do, iwould love to see this
this would be outstanding, thanks Kinya! I wanted to take this class at the workshop but could only do the intro class (which was awesome BTW)
Definetly!
Hi Kinya,
I have already the set of lessons from Richard and I have some relative experience in customizing the Marine Band. However, since I couldn't come to San Jose and regarding the fact that I enjoyed all your lessons, I would thoroughly be interested in having your point of view.
Best Regards,
Eddy
