Hi David

I'm currently working on Feelin' for the Blues L.O.A. 3 and all good. Just a quick question, I noticed that nothing is slapped shall I play it as shown or would you expect some slap in there,? Personally speaking I think the slurred bending phrases lend the piece to be unslapped?

cheers and hope you're well.

Greg

Great question Greg. Exactly,

Great question Greg. Exactly, this song is more of a ballad blues and lends itself to not being slapped. If you throw a little bit in there (like the 6+ 6+ 5 5 5+ 5+ 4 5+ 4 turnaround), go for it... there are some opportunities to throw it in there if you want... your choice.

Thanks David much

Thanks David much appreciated.

Even at my early stage of playing, slap is becoming almost natural to do so I will try the run you mention but exclude it if it gets in the way.

By the way I would like to thank you indeed for the interview with Bob Corritore, I was totally transfixed with his story and he answered some of the questions I had about the Blues. Feel very privaleged.

cheers have a good one.

Sure! Glad to hear the slap

Sure! Glad to hear the slap is becoming natural, that's good news. Glad you enjoyed Bob's interview, he had some great things to say.
