Tongue Blocking & Bending
Hi David,
I'm 77, and recently (pre Covid) attended a group class for aspiring, beginning harmonica players. Everything came to a screeching halt when the music school shut down. In that beginners class I discovered that I could produce single notes poorly using the Pucker technique, could produce nice, clean single notes tongue blocking, could bend while puckering but couldn't bend at all while tongue blocking. Is it even possible to bend while tongue blocking?
Thanks.

You'll get into bending near the end of the your Level 2 studies. It's important to develop good tone before bending.
Hello prsnrs, welcome to the site. Yes, bending in a tongue block is the default way that you'll perform a bend. All of the material on this site, as well as the bending lesson (Bending Study 1), is taught with the tongue block embouchure. If you haven't already seen the bending lesson, dig in, I have a lot of helpful tips for you there.
