Tongue Blocking Study

In the C Major Scale - Tongue Blocking Study 1 Technique video, it shows a blow, draw image with notes. The diagram shows that it is a C Harmonica. I noticed that you are playing an A harmonica. Does every harmonica have the same notes. For example on the C harmonica, a 4 blow is a C. Would a 4 blow on an A harmonica be a C too?
Hello LucasBras. Each harmonica has its own set of pitches, but each set is a transposition of the other. In other words, each harmonica is a carbon copy of the other, just higher or lower in pitch. So... whatever you play on your C harmonica, you can play the same holes, draws and blows, on your A harmonica, but it will sound lower. So, if you can play one harmonica, you can play them all. I use the C harmonica as the reference harmonica, but you can use whatever harmonica you want to play the example on (in this case the A harmonica).
Did this help?... I know this is a confusing subject.
