Tongue's out of commission - what can I do?
Dave, I posted a while back - and you responded - about a problem I have with my tongue due to a surgical mishap a few years back. I mentioned to you that sometimes my tongue can kind of think for itself and do weird things. Well, it just did one of those weird things by jumping between my teeth while I was eating lunch today (this happens every so often). As a result, I've got a very sore bite on the right side.
It will be a few days before I heal - usually about three or four from experience. In the meantime, I really don't want to stop my practice. Are there any lessons on line that you could recommend me to do while waiting for this to pass? I know there's lots of videos to watch, but I want to keep progressing.
I know this all sounds weird and disgusting, but it's true. It's not all bad - at least I get a break from talking to the in-laws from time to time.
Can you advise?
Yes, videos makes a lot of sense... the harmonica museum (in Special Interest)... and some of the Solo Harmonica Studies makes sense (Studies 1 and 2)... best wishes on healing up.
