Train beat accompaniment examples needed
Hello Dave,
I am now in a band that have a couple of train beat tunes in their repertoire where I am supposed to accompany them.
I am in a relatively early stages of my accompaniment studdies and I have not yet cime across examples of that groove. Can you please guide me if I can find something I can coppy that can be used over train grooves on the website?
The other thing is I frequently run out of ideas when a rock beat comes. 'The strut' is my safe place in that case + tramp grooves from solo harmonica studies, but for the moment thats about it. At the moment where I "suffer" the most are train grooves but more examples of rock beat would also be very helpful.
Thanks in advance!
Angel
Hello Angel. It Takes Three is available on iTunes and the transcription here https://www.bluesharmonica.com/it_takes_three_transcriptions
Hello Angel.
I recommend you study as many solos (and accompaniment) you can of harmonica players playing "Got My Mojo Working"... the Mojo Beat is pretty much the same thing for us.
As for the website on train beats and rock beats, there are no more studies I'm sorry to say. Do you have the transcription set to the It Takes Three CD? If you do, there's a couple rock beats and one Mojo beat in there.
