Tremolo Frequency
Interesting timing! In your tip of the day, you are currently talking about freqency of tremolo, shakes, etc. When I was recently studying "Walk With Me" for level 1 LOA, I determined that your tremolo on it was pretty much always triplet-frequency. In fact, it sent me back to the drawing board to try to get better frequency control of my own tremolo (only semi-successfully) to try to master the triplet-tremolo technique. My own has alway been, let's call it "eclectic" in frequency.
But, if I am understanding the gist of your current comments, it isn't necessary to try to time the beats so much.?
It would be a relief to me, not to have to think about it so much (I have lots of other weaknesses to concentrate on!)
Thanks.
Cool! How fast/slow you play it is not much of a focus... that they are played evenly-spaced is... your goal is that the frequency (time between throat opening/closing) is even. Playing it in a triplet rhythm is oaky, just don't emphasize the downbeats... we don't want someone thinking you're "playing" triplets... you're just singing through the harmonica.
