Hi Skip.
What do you think about this beauty?
I am looking for amp easily available at my city, and I can by this one just turning the corner.
Sorry Skip for keep making questions, but.
I am making comparisons between the amp I would like to buy (my bassman have to wait more time) who is an harp gear hg2 (I cannot afford to buy it) and the vox ac4tv and the fender champion 600.
I have listened to the harpgear little amp and it sounds great (in internet).
Harpgear Vs champion Vs ac4tv combo.
1. Preamp tube: 12ay7 ----- 12ax7 ----- 12ax7
2. Power tube: 6v6 ----- 6v6 ------ el84
3. Power: 5w ----- 5w ----- 4w
4. Speaker output: 4 ohms ------ 4 ohms ----- 16 ohms
5. Diameter speaker: 8'' -------- 6'' ------- 10''
6. Price: 850 dollars (+ sendings costs to Europe) ----- 160 eu. ------ 220 eu.
I know the hg2 is superb but I have to choose between the other two.
In my opinion the vox looks promising if i change the tubes, but:
Can I change champion speaker for a 10'' one without doing any more operations than that?
If I change ac4tv tubes for other ones (12ay7 or 12au7 + 6v6), Do you think I will loose too much power?
I have seen a web in uk where they sell a tube replacement set specially designed for harmonica and for the champion 600.
Thanks Skip.

Hello Sergio- Thanks for writing. I don't really know anything about that particular amp, but, hopefully, other BH readers can tell us their experiences. I would say go for it, and start practicing!
