Will learning improve if I "upgrade" my harmonica?

Thank you for helping me.

I use Special 20s for my LOA lessons-- now on Level 4.

For Christmas I got a Crossover.

The Crossover seems to respond more readily than the Special 20 when I practice low volume playing and related dynamics.

I can afford the Crossover and will change to it for my LOA lessons if the Crossover will speed my learning and lead to more insights.

(Sometimes equipment type seems to make learning easier and sometimes its impact is zero to marginal.)

Please let me know your advice on this. Thank you very much for helping me.  I'm enjoying the learning.

Hello brittleonard. The

Hello brittleonard. The Special 20 is a good harmonica, many pros use it. Is the Crossover better?... yes. You hit it on the head... you can play with more dynamics and it bends easier. If you don't mind spending some $ on your hobby, then go for it. If you're on a budget, don't worry about it, the Special 20 will serve you just fine.
