William Clark Artist Studies
The version of "Lonesome Bedroom Blues" in your artist studys is in the key of "G" on "C" harp is it possible that he played it in a different key on another CD, I'm very weak in this area so I'm somewhat insecure in my ability to tell the difference but on the cd "Blowin like Hell" it seems like it's in "F" on a "Bb" harp, Thanks for clearing this up for me.
I'm not going to argue with the expert but it seems to me he's playing on a Bb diatonic in the key of F on the Blowin' Like Hell-album track.
Bets? ;-)
I have to listen to the track again. But if you're right (you probably are) it'll shed a whole new light on how to play it.

In the list from the link above it also says that it's been played on a Bb but then again I also found two mistakes on the keylisting from a Mitch Kashmar album.
Anyway, I'll give the album track from Lonesome Bed Blues a listen and we'll get back to this ;)
Lance Hetzler does that listing for me... super-good player and great that he does this for me and you. Yes, errors are found now and again... please let me know which ones you feel are in error and I'll make edits. We're in the process right now of updating it and placing it on this site.
Just to add to the discussion I always thought it was a Bb harp on the Blowin' Like Hell album.
There is a chromatic version (I think !) on one of Mark Hummel's Blues Harmonica Blowout CDs: "Still Here and Gone" 1993-2007.
Wow... in my overworked and sleep deprived state as of late I kept thinking you were speaking of the SONG "Blowin like Hell." Sorry about that... "Blowin like Hell" is on the chromatic, but YES, "Lonesome Bedroom Blues" on that album IS on a Bb Harp in 2nd Position (F). I got nine hours of sleep last night... this IS now the correct answer! :-O Sorry about the confusion... you win the bet!
ha! what did I win? :D
Yah, sorry about that... didn't mean to mess with your harmonica universe. ;-)
......just kidding.
Maybe not fair, but anyone have the lyrics? I tried googling but nothing came up. I'll go to the "listen, write, repeat, write" method in a day or two if no one has them or can point me to a source. Thanks - such a great song!!
Well, it’s lonesome in my bedroom, Baby
Darling, just me and myself alone.
Well, it’s lonesome in my bedroom, sweetheart,
Darling, just me and myself alone.
Well, I have no one to talk with
Each and every night when I come home.
Well, a bedroom without a woman, Baby,
Darling, like a heart without a beat.
Yes, a bedroom without a woman, Sweetheart
(OOh ooh OOh ) like a heart without a beat.
Yes, I’ve been searching this big, big world over.
I got to find the one that’s meant for me.
(Solo)
Well, you know I scream and I cry, Baby,
Darling every night ‘bout bedtime.
Well, I scream and I cry, pretty baby,
(Oooh ooh OOh ooh OOh ee) every night ‘bout bedtime.
Yes, you know everybody needs somebody.
I’m tryin’ to find this little girl of mine.

Many thanks Marcos. Should be fun!
Close! He's playing a Bb Chromatic in 3rd Position, key of C.
