Working with D Harp

Hello David, 

Just getting used to the D harp relative to Level 4.  Yes these bends are much harder.  Does the D harp also draw harder?  I am getting less volume and it takes more air volume.  

Also got HarpNinja and I have to say it was a great thing to improve TB accuracy.  Excellent recommendation and nice product.

gwknopp. Assuming the quality

gwknopp. Assuming the quality of the D harmonica is the same as your A (the same quality model, and how well they're built it in the factory... that changes too... who worked on that harp that day), the D is not harder to play, it's just different. It takes time to learn how to play each key. Each key has it's challenges. As your mouth (mostly the location of your tongue in your mouth) gets used to that harmonica, it will become easier to play. Bending requires more of the front of the tongue, further forward in your mouth.
