Wrong harmonica

I purchased a Marine Band Crossover harmonica in G. I signed up for your lessons and then learned I need an A harmonica. How nice. Can I postpone this course until I have the correct harmonica?

It does not matter that much for Fundamentals
Bob,
I guess the key does not matter for the fundamentals and the first part of Lesson 1, apart from that you will be not getting familiar with sounds on your harmonica in A but in G.
I used my Special 20 in C for the Fundamentals and part of Lesson 1 when I didn't have my harmonica in A.
Best!

Hello Bob, welcome to the site. Sure, that's not a problem. When you lose access to the site, just email us and we'll turn the access back on for you.
In the mean time, you can walk through the lessons, you just won't be able to play along with me (just pause the video and give it a try).
A technology solution is to use the Google Chrome browser app “Transpose,” of which a lesson is found here: https://www.bluesharmonica.com/video_practice_tools_transpose_%E2%96%B2%...
This app allows you to loop a section of a lesson video, slow it down, and more importantly for your case, change the key to match your G Harmonica (move they key down two semitones).
For changing the key of an audio track, you can use The Amazing Slow Downer, of which a lesson is found here: https://www.bluesharmonica.com/practice_tools_amazing_slow_downer
Best wishes on your studies.
