Wrong instrument?
Hi David, I would appreciate Your assistance in my case. I am a beginner and I probably made a mistake purchasing me a chromatic harmonica (Hohner Super Chromonica, C tuned, 12 holes). I started to following Your lessons on Level 1, which I find fantastic, but I am not sure if it makes sense to continue with this instrument. For which kind of music is this instrument suitable anyway? Should I bought me a diatonic harmonica?

My pleasure OldStar. I recommend you study the chromatic material now... maybe doing the LOA material at the same time, to shore up your basic technique.
Hello OldStar. The chromatic harmonica is an especially good choice for classical, jazz and blues. There are lessons for blues chromatic, starting here https://www.bluesharmonica.com/lessons/blues_chromatic_study_1
The chromatic lesson assumes a little bit of knowledge from the diatonic (10 hole harmonica). If there are technique questions as you go, you'll find answers in the beginning diatonic lessons. You can of course ask me here as well.
