Jerez de la Frontera (Sherry) - Spain. House of spanish guitar and flamenco.
I am in my fourth month.
I like music that speaks about feeling, and that's why blues (like flamenco) doesn't have boundaries, it belong to the world.
I started learning about 2 years ago spent most of that time puckering...Now with Harp Guru David who is The Best harmonica teacher in the world. i'm exclusively TBing and love it...
I played in a club for the first time in my life on the 7th Sep 2011, and I enjoyed myself (I thought I would freeze up and forget how to play!! but when the music started I forgot the crowd!! and played ).
If there is anyone here from Bangalore I would like to meet up and play together sometime...
I'm originally from Colombia, not to be confused with Columbia in the US.
Right now I live in Spain but in a month I'll be heading to Brazil. I've been playing for more than 5 years but until now I've never been playing seriously. With bluesharmonica.com I feel permanently encouraged to keep practising. I'm loving it!
Cheers.

Savannah, GA. Transplanted from Orlando, FL in 2006. I love living where no one gets excited when they see someone walking down the road shouldering a firearm. In Orlando you would be greeted by a SWAT team. Been taking lessons from The Iceman for a couple months, but came to this site to learn tongue blocking and a million other things.
I live in Peabody Ma. about 20 min north of Boston.
Hey all

Hello all!
I live in Gatineau (Québec), across the river from Ottawa, our capital.
Haven't seen a beach worth mentioning yet, but I keep looking...;-)
Just started on Dave's web site a few days ago and have just been poking around to see what all is here. A lot of information for sure, it looks lke Dave has put a lot of work into these lessons, not to mention all the other available info to absorb.
I have been toying around with the Harp for a few years all lip pursing and this tongue blocking procedure is like starting all over again. However, I needed some structure as I was not going anywhere. My playing never seemed to progress like I wanted it too. I think I have found the right place. My goal is just to be able to jam with other musicians.
Raleigh, NC. I'm excited to learn here. I got a subscription as a Christmas present.

Norwich UK, started playing April 2011 was living in Cambridge at the time and lucky enough to get weekly lessons off Steve Lockwood a very accomplished all player who also plays chromatic and learnt from Larry Adler! Moved to Norwich earlier this year so can't get the same 1 to 1 lessons so using David's teaching which has been amazing and the feedback is great. If any of you are about in Norwich anytime give me a shout and we even have our own blues society for regular jams.

Seattle. Been shedding for 2 years now. Started playing from the website. @Deejcipey, I was doing some shedding in Thailand a while back! It was easier to live dirt cheap and spend more time practicing. I learned Blues for Paul DeLay and Minor Mambo in Chang Mai. Now every time I play them it brings back memories of walking around town trying to find tape to learn the high octaves for DeLay and the strange looks I got for walking around saying oodle-loddle-loddle for days (Minor Mambo) ... If you haven't gotten to those songs yet... You'll see. Haha
In Dalarna, the maypole county :)

Besides this site I have Skype lessons with Michael Rubin every week and I am a member of Ronnie Shellists online class @harmonica123. Residing in China since 2001. Big fan of blues and blues-rock.music. Started studying blues harmonica 3 months ago and I love it.
It will be near impossible to find a blues-band to jam/play in this area, but I might relocate to Europe in a year or so, where I expect more possibilities. In addition, I will (hopefully) be a reasonably skilled player by that time!
Excellent website, great study material (very comprehensive), very valuable feedback from David.
Metung is 3 hours east of Melbourne in Australia.
Been trying to play for a year or two now. Recently found this site and expecting the structure here to give me something to strive for.
Love the website and the material. Hope to be able to entertain some friends around a camp fire as well as entertaining myself.

I got into the blues after hearing a band called "Mayday" at the local watering hole.
